Junta of CyL has been shortlisted for the Procura+ Network Awards

The Junta of Castilla y León has been selected by the Procura+ Network for its participation in the PROCURA project for its 2021 Procura+ Award for Innovation Procurement of the Year, an award that wants to showcase sustainable and innovation procurement in practice.

Procura+ is a network of European public authorities and regions that connect, exchange and act on sustainable and innovation procurement managed by ICLEI Europe, the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives, that counts with more than 160 members in Europe only committed to a local sustainable development and to make real change on the ground.

The finalists of the award will be decided in mid-August by a jury based on the economic, environmental and social impact of the sustainable and innovative procurement, its effect on the efficiency and effectiveness of public services, the degree in which in enabled the procurement of an innovative or sustainable product or service, the stakeholder involvement of the initiative, its replicability and its planned promotion of the lessons learned.
